This handmade Crystal Tree of Life is created slowly, one gemstone and one branch at a time.
Natural Carnelian and Coral form a vibrant canopy of fiery reds, glowing oranges and warm earthy tones. Hundreds of individual movements of the artist's hands transform copper wire into branches, a sculptural trunk and exposed roots that appear to grow naturally around the stone beneath them.
Rather than following a mold or predetermined shape, the tree develops organically throughout the making process. The natural character of the gemstones and stone base influences the final composition, making the finished sculpture impossible to reproduce exactly.

Creating a crystal tree is a slow process. Gemstones are selected and positioned individually. Fine strands of copper wire are twisted together to create branches, gradually becoming the trunk before separating again into exposed roots that embrace the natural stone base. The final form is shaped through patience rather than mass production.
